Any information gathered through use of forms on our websites, customer satisfaction surveys, emails, phone calls, or any other transmission will be used solely for the purpose of responding to your queries and/or improving the quality of service that we offer. Such information will be considered non-confidential unless expressly stated otherwise.

Our website does gather additional information about visitors to our sites in regards to the operating system used, browser used, resolution of the monitor, and various other statistical information that helps us to know how users are viewing our sites. This information is used solely for informational purposes to help us improve the quality of service to our clients.

We do not endorse spam mail of any kind. Your information will never be sold to a third party for solicitation purposes. The names of clients and demonstrations of the work we have done for them may be used periodically as references in order to obtain new business.

All websites we have created or hosted will be listed on our Portfolio page. Occasionally, clients may be contacted regarding communications sent that we feel may be appropriate for our Testimonials page. Permission will be requested before any testimonials from our clients are posted.

Should the need arise to disclose certain client information in order to comply with any legal process, JDR Web Solutions, Inc will notify the client of the information that is being disclosed and the reason for the disclosure within the legal boundaries of the request.

Terms of Service

JDR Web Solutions, Inc offers a "Guaranteed Not to Exceed" policy on all of our website proposals. After discussions with the potential client, we create an estimate based on previous websites we have created for other clients. This proposal should be considered a fair estimate for the services expressly detailed within the document. JDR Solutions will not charge more than what is quoted within the proposal unless expressly stated as an exemption to this clause. While we will not charge more than what may be quoted in the estimate (excepting any exemptions), if the total project time does not take longer than estimated, the client will only be charged for the hours spent working on the project.

A frequent exemption in our proposals is "Design Time." While we strive to meet our customers expectations in the design of the overall look and feel of their website, there are times when clients get very particular or indecisive about the design, which can stretch out the estimated time for completion of this phase of the project. We provide an estimate based on previous projects, but we cannot be responsible for extended design time needed to meet the quality expectations of our clients which may result in additional charges beyond the original estimate.

Additional items that surface during the production phase of the website may add to the overall cost of development. Any pages, services, etc. that are outside the scope of the original estimate will not be included in the "Guaranteed Not to Exceed" policy. Additional formal estimates will be provided upon request for these items, otherwise an informal estimate will be provided verbally or via email, and the charges incurred will be added to the next regular invoice.

Project time is charged for "computer time" only. We never bill clients for meeting times because we want to ensure that we are providing exactly what our clients want and expect. If several meetings are necessary to ensure that the proper details are in place, we will not charge for any additional time spent in meetings, whether in person, by phone, or through email.

Our policy is not to charge hosting fees until the website is moved to our production servers unless previously agreed to otherwise. Once the domain name has been acquired, an under construction page will be provided to let your clients know that you have a website in development. The under construction page can be customized to provide a professional look that helps you sell your products or services while we perfect the final product. Example.

At this time, we do not charge a deposit for any website services contracted with JDR Web Solutions, Inc. Charges for development time typically do not start until after two months of working on the project or the development is completed, whichever occurs first.

Our philosophy is that the code we develop for you or your organization actually belongs to the person paying for it. At any time, if your account is current and you desire a soft or hard copy of the website we have developed for you, simply request it, and we will copy it to CD or produce a binder of printouts of the website.

Special conditions apply for Not-For-Profit organizations. Please contact us if you are considering a website for your NFP organization. We have had several successful partnerships with students at ITT Technical Institute while working on websites for NFP organizations.

These terms of service are subject to change at any time, and any final policy should be verified with your JDR Web Solutions, Inc representative before any contract is finalized.
